The Story of Forgotten Trails
A tribute to our time in Dayton, WA, with the majestic Touchet Valley to pull inspiration from, our mission to make hemp extraction more sustainable came to life with Forgotten Trails.
As we watched horses run with the trains along the Columbia Walla Walla railroad and saw the town support local, sustainable food practices, we knew we had to do the same for the growing world of plant wellness.

Meet Our Founder
A native Oklahoman, Zachary White founded Forgotten Trails after receiving his MS in Organic Chemistry with a focus on natural product synthesis from UT Austin (hook ‘em horns!).
After working on pesticide remediation through centrifugal partition chromatography for a California cannabis company, he pivoted his focus to the hemp industry. He quickly recognized the need for a more sustainable way to produce hemp extracts without the use of solvents.
This work eventually led to a breakthrough, and in the summer of 2020, Zachary discovered his patent-pending water extraction process. This led him to found Forgotten Trails CBD, and he built the company from the ground up ever since.
